Mr Marvin de Frenne is Project Officer at Mediation Europe.
He holds degrees in Economics from the University of Heidelberg and the University of Copenhagen. His background lies in development cooperation, with a focus on peace, security and Violence Against Women as well as experimental and behavioral economics.
In a GIZ-Project (German Corporation for International Cooperation GmbH) based in Lima, Peru, dedicated to combatting Violence Against Women in Latin America, Marvin oversaw inter-cultural consultation activities and reviewed research publications.
Marvin worked as Project Manager on Projects for the Federal Foreign Office and the GIZ in the Department for Peace and Security at Madiba Consult, a consultancy in the field of development cooperation. He also collaborated closely with and filled in for the Head of the Evaluation Department.
Marvin is experienced in preparing and conducting workshops. As a certified Mediator, he is skilled in Nonviolent Communication.
